QBCC Technical Conference

In May 2023, Christina was invited to speak at the QBCC technical conference.

She was asked to present about fire engineering solutions for fire resistance performance requirements.

The topics included:

  • Typical defects in a passive fire system that could be repaired to meet the NCC Requirements using a Performance Solution.
  • Typical rectification methodology, the approach a Fire Engineer would use for a total building solution.
  • Fire safety verification methods required by the NCC.

The conference was attended by the QBCC technical officers, which included building inspectors, non-conforming building products investigators, plumbing investigators, technical standards unit officers and certification officers.

Christina presents at a variety of events and conferences both online and face-to-face. If you would like Christina to present at your workplace or event please complete the Request a Seminar by Christina Knorr form.
