It is important to keep up-to-date with codes and legislation.

The NCC editions are adopted by different states at different times. NCC (National Construction Code) 2022 Amendment 2 has been published to align the NCC with recent changes to the Disability (Access to Premises – Buildings) Standards 2010 (Premises Standards).

From 29 July 2025, NCC 2022 Amendment 1 is superseded by NCC 2022 Amendment 2. From 1 May 2025, NCC 2022 is superseded by NCC 2022 Amendment 1.

For example:

  • CP1 Structural stability during a fire > C1P1 Structural stability during a fire
  • D1.7 Travel via fire-isolated exits > D2D12 Travel via fire-isolated exits
