23rd of June 2023 was International Women in Engineering Day, celebrating the work and achievements of women engineers.

As a member of the Engineers Australia Committee, Christina organised a networking breakfast to acknowledge and celebrate women in engineering. The Networking Breakfast aimed to create a supportive and empowering environment where professionals, like yourself, can connect, share experiences, and build meaningful relationships. It was an excellent opportunity to celebrate the contributions of women in the engineering field and inspire the next generation of engineers.

Four wonderful speakers presented at the event: Tara Herley, Romy Quis, Kim Metcalf and Andres Romero.
