Inside Construction Expo and Foundation Awards

The Inside Construction Expo 2023 was held 20-21 September at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. This world-class exhibition showcased the latest in equipment and technology.

The Expo aimed to present and discuss the significant challenges faced by the construction industry with topics including:

  • Workplace Wellbeing & Team Management
  • Sustainability and Environment
  • Digital Transformation and Connectivity
  • Construction Productivity
  • The Skills Gap: Training, Education, Recruitment and Careers
  • Health and Safety

Christina also gave a presentation on Fire Safety at the Inside Construction Expo alongside Joe Smith, CEO of the National Fire Industry Association of Australia – NFIA and Kenny Luu from Structures ANZ – SMEC with CJK’s Jasmine moderating the session.

Christina – Inside Construction – Woman of the Year award winner!

The Inside Construction Expo coincided with the Inside Construction Awards Gala, which CJK team members Christina, Emily and Jasmine attended. At the dinner we celebrated as Christina won the Woman of the Year award. The Woman of the Year category recognised  women in the industry who have driven change and continues to do so, leading to progress in breaking down barriers and creating new career prospects for the next generation. It was a great night, enjoyed by all!
