Last week on the 18th September 2025, Women In Construction FNQ and Nick Williams from Passive Fire Solutions hosted the event – Chicks N Bricks.

It was relaxed and informative afternoon filled with drinks, delicious nibbles and great company!

Nick kicked off the session with the critical role of passive fire protection showing examples of fire stopping for penetrations in fire rated walls, floors and ceilings. Christina followed on, sharing her knowledge and expertise explaining the role of fire safety engineering and performance solutions with examples of fire safety related building defects.

It was the perfect opportunity to learn, network, and discover how passive fire solutions play a vital role in building safety.
